Undergraduate or Certificate Program Admission Requirements:

Undergraduate Degree Programs for Associate of Science & Bachelor of Science Admission Requirements:

  • At least one year of completed study with a minimum of 30 credits before enrollment
  • $35 application fee
  • Personal goal statement
  • Three letters of academic and/or professional recommendation
  • Official HS or GED transcripts, college transcripts if applicable
  • Life Sciences Only – SAT/ACT scores submission
  • Radiography Program Only – Transcripts showing completion of:
    1. Anatomy & Physiology (4 units)
    2. Elementary Algebra (3 units)
    3. English Composition (3 units)
    4. Medical Terminology (3 units)

Post-Bachelor Certificate Programs Admission Requirements:

  • $35 application fee
  • Personal goal statement
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  • Three letters of recommendation, two from a mathematics or science teacher
  • All college and/or university transcripts

Master of Public Health in Urban Public Health Admission Requirements:

  • $75 application fee
  • Personal goal statement of 2 to 3 pages addressing:
    1. Interest in contributing to the field of public health
    2. How one’s interests align with the mission of the CDU Urban Public Health Program
    3. Career objectives
    4. Sell-assessment of general skills
  • Three letters of recommendation, at least one being an academic reference.
  • Official transcripts from previous institutions
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  • Official GRE exam scores
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Master of Science in Nursing Admission Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • For Family Nurse Practitioner Applicants: Current RN license in the state of CA
  • Submission of online application
  • $100 application fee
  • Official transcripts from all previous institutions
  • Personal goal statement of 2 to 3 pages detailing what you plan to do in your career
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  • Three letters of Recommendation, at least one an academic reference
