This portion of the MCAT will help prepare medical students to learn about how stratification and inequality can be a major detriment to providing health care. It will also help students learn about the ways that quality of life impacts access to healthcare, interactions with providers, and treatment options.
Though there is no time limit on foundational concept 10, you will have a total of 95 minutes to complete the Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior section of the new MCAT exam. Foundational concept 10 makes up 5% of the questions in this section. Foundational concept 10 is also the final foundational concept of the exam.
