Years 1/2 provide instruction in the basic
sciences and in developing skills in communicating with patients,
taking a history, and performing a physical examination. Years 3/4
include required clerkships (medicine, surgery, family medicine,
obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry) and electives.
Clerkships combine inpatient experience with extensive time in the
ambulatory setting. |

is designed for independent adult learners. There is one integrated
basic science course in each of the first 2 years complemented by
PBL sessions, labs, and tutorials. Clinical rotations are conducted
